The Zimmerman Automobile Driving Museum is proud to bring back:

Trunk or Treat & Spooky Car Cruise-In!

We invite Ghouls and Goblins of all ages to hunt with The Zimmerman for tasty treats, with some tricks along the way! Dress in costume and find all of the checkpoints, then you will be rewarded with a Hot Wheels toy. The day is filled with costume contests, folkloric dancers, a band and live music, arts and crafts, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, a hearse cruise-in, and local vendors selling their spooky concoctions!

The Zimmerman is proud to celebrate Halloween and Dia de los Muertos, a Mexican tradition occurring yearly on November 1st. Dia de los Muertos is a day to celebrate loved ones who have passed. Bring a picture of your dearly departed to add to our ofrenda (altar) and celebrate their lives. Grandeza Mexicana will be performing their folkloric dance at 12 p.m. — you don’t want to miss this!

Trunk or Treat

We will also be hosting our annual Spooky Cruise-in, open to hearses and decorated or “dressed up” cars — all guests in the spooky cars will have FREE admission to the museum! Spooky cars are encouraged to participate in giving out candy. Spooky cars are encouraged to make a $15 donation, and hearses are FREE!

Pinup Contest

Additionally, there will be a Halloween Pinup Contest hosted by The Caramelitas at 2:00 p.m.  The theme for this year’s Pinup Contest is Famous Movie Characters. If you are interested in participating in the pinup contest, please send an email to thecaramelitas@gmail.com to request more info or an application. The deadline to enter is October 18, 2023. Eight finalists will be selected and announced on the eve of October 19, 2023.

Costume Contests

Costume contests begin at 11 a.m. for younger kids (1-10) and 11:30 a.m. for older kids (11-17). Everyone is encouraged to dress up for Halloween or Dia de los Muertos!

Awards

Awards will be given for Best Pinup, Best Costumes, Best Spooky Car or Hearse, Most Creative Vehicle, and Funniest Vehicle. It will be a spooky good time!

Senior (62+) – $10
Child (11-17) – $5
Child (10 and under) – FREE!

We are proud to be part of Blue Star Families — any active military or veteran can show proof and will receive 2 adult and 2 children admissions for FREE.
